Dalmore 18 Year Old Whisky

Dalmore 18 Year Whisky is a Highland single malt with quite the showcase of body and flavour. Initially matured for 14 years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the whisky moves onto a second phase in 30 year-old Matusalem oloroso sherry casks for an additional four years. Exclusively practiced by Dalmore this step creates exceptional depth. The nose is fruity and spicy, harbouring the zesty orange notes youd expect from a Dalmore, accented by potpourri and earthy hints of leather and raisins. The palate is smoky and spicy, a bit of bittersweet chocolate, sherry and pepper. A worthwhile, fruity finish ends on toasted nuts and buttery caramel.
