In being a single molded frame without the need for any separate decking material, the snowshoe is extremely rugged and without the same proneness to wear-and-tear of traditional snowshoes. While the overall design of the frame provides traction, a stainless steel toe crampon increases bite on snow and ice. Fimbulvetrs All Direction Hinge offers flexibility and responsiveness which further enhances overall traction. Above the crampon and hinge, the Hugin binding keeps your foot properly positioned for optimal performance. The simple lacing system offers a broad range of adjustability to accommodate footwear ranging from sneakers to boots. It confidently secures your foot without applying undue pressure that could otherwise lead to hot spots and irritation. A rear heel strap further locks your foot in place. It has a recommended load range of up to 300 pounds.
